November 18, 2025 | Other Activities
Chief Statistician of Statistics Indonesia (BPS) RI, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, expressed the commitment of BPS to ensure that every statistic produced is not only of high quality, but also meaningful and has an impact on society. Amalia conveyed this during the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on “Pengembangan Statistik Sektoral dan Satu Data Indonesia” at the launch of the Jakarta One Data Portal between BPS and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government at the AA Maramis Building of the Ministry of Finance, Jakarta (11/11). The MoU was signed by Chief Statistician of Statistics Indonesia (BPS) RI and Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung. Also present was Vice Chief Statistician of Statistics Indonesia (BPS) RI, Sonny Harry Budiutomo Harmadi.
The Jakarta One Data Portal is an online (digital) platform developed by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to present official and open data to the public. Through this platform, various sectoral statistical data are presented in interactive and easy-to-understand visualizations that can be easily accessed by the public, academics, and government officials. The portal also aims to improve public data literacy.
Amalia stated that the presence of the One Data Portal is an important symbol of the use of data as a basis for policy making. “Hopefully, the support of quality statistical data produced by BPS can continue to deliver meaningful insights and impact,” she said.
“We believe that today is indeed the era where data is used as a reference in decision making,” said Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung in his speech. BPS’s support for the One Data Portal can strengthen accurate and integrated data for the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in decision making and policy formulation for its citizens.
