BPS Strengthen Supports for Regional Development Through Memorandum of Understanding with Jambi and Central Sulawesi Provincial Governments

The Chief Statistician of BPS RI, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, together with the Governor of Jambi, Al Haris, and the Governor of Central Sulawesi, Anwar Hafid, emphasized the importance of statistical data in supporting regional development planning and implementation (24/2). This synergy strengthens the use of data as a basis for more targeted, measurable, and sustainable policy-making.

Through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on the Provision, Utilization, and Development of Data and/or Statistical Information for regional development, BPS, together with the Provincial Governments of Jambi and Central Sulawesi, are committed to strengthening data integration, improving the quality of sectoral statistics, and encouraging the use of official statistical data as the basis for formulating effective and evidence-based regional development policies.
