December 4, 2025 | Other Activities
Statistics Indonesia (BPS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the provincial, district, and city governments of East Java to strengthen collaboration in providing quality statistical data for regional and national development in Malang (20/11). The signing was carried out by the Chief Statistician of Statistics Indonesia (BPS) RI, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, and the Governor of East Java, Khofifah Indar Parawansa, and witnessed by the Minister of Social Affairs RI, Saifullah Yusuf. In addition, the heads of BPS regencies/cities and the mayors/regents across East Java also signed the memorandum of understanding.
In her presentation, the Chief Statistician of Statistics Indonesia (BPS) RI reiterated that behind every appropriate policy, there must be accurate and reliable data. Therefore, the provision of quality statistical data and information, which is the main focus of the MoU, is of significant and strategic importance. Through this MoU, it is expected that the synergy between BPS and the Regional Government of East Java will grow stronger and more concrete, and will be able to provide increasingly relevant data for sustainable development.
At the same event, Singasari (Integrated Village Data Management Information System) was launched, a website-based digital platform designed to integrate various data—social, economic, agricultural, infrastructure, regional potential, and others into a single integrated system. This system is the result of collaboration between the BPS of East Java Province and the East Java Provincial Government. Using information from the National Single Social and Economic Data (DTSEN), Singasari is able to combine various data from various sources, such as economic data, agricultural data, and other social data.
