The Vice Chief Statistician of BPS RI, Sonny Harry Budiutomo Harmadi, emphasized the importance of statistical data in poverty alleviation and unemployment reduction at the Ministry of Home Affairs Coordination Meeting (27/2). In his presentation, Sonny explained how accurate data forms the basis for targeted policy formulation to improve the quality of life of the community.
Cooperation between BPS and local governments is key to optimizing the use of data in efficient development planning. With accurate and up-to-date data, government policies will be more targeted, effective, and responsive to socioeconomic challenges.
