Strengthening Tourism Statistics and Dissemination of SE2026, BPS Collaborates with InJourney and TVRI

Statistics Indonesia (BPS) is strengthening the quality of national tourism statistics while promoting the widespread dissemination of the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026) through a strategic collaboration with InJourney and the Indonesian Public Broadcasting Agency (LPP TVRI). This synergy is aimed for integrating hotel and transportation statistics to produce more accurate and real-time tourism statistics, also expanding the dissemination of SE2026 to reach all levels of society through the TVRI broadcasting network.

This commitment was realized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by the Chief Statistician of BPS RI, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, together with the President Director of InJourney, Maya Watono, and the President Director of LPP TVRI, Iman Brotoseno, at the STIS Statistics Polytechnic, Jakarta (18/12). Also present at the event was the Vice Chief Statistician of BPS RI, Sonny Harry Budiutomo Harmadi. This collaboration underscores BPS's role in providing precise, relevant, and impactful statistics for national economic development.
