Jakarta, August 25, 2025 — Chief Statistician of Statistics Indonesia (BPS), Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, was honored by the Ministry of Housing and Settlements (PKP) during the 17th National Housing Day (Hapernas) celebration. The recognition was given for BPS’s contribution to the housing sector, particularly in supporting the Three Million Homes Program. The award ceremony took place at the Ministry’s office in Wisma Mandiri II, Jakarta. Attending from BPS were Acting Principal Secretary Moh. Edy Mahmud, Deputy Chief Statistician for Social Statistics Ateng Hartono, and Director of Social Welfare Statistics Ahmad Avenzora.

"In this year’s commemoration of National Housing Day, we are honoring individuals and partners who have contributed to housing development in Indonesia and to the success of the Three Million Homes Program,” said Minister of Housing and Settlements Maruarar Sirait. Aside from BPS, awards were also presented to various partners from government institutions, the private sector, and community organizations.

Minister Maruarar, known widely as Minister Ara, stressed that housing development is not a task the ministry can handle alone. “This must be a collective effort carried out as one big team,” he said, calling for continued collaboration with government and private sector partners, developers, housing advocates, and the broader community.
