BPS, Public Housing, and Manpower Ministries Join Forces to Boost Data-Driven Housing Assistance
April 21, 2025 | Other Activities
In a move to enhance cross-agency collaboration, Statistics Indonesia (BPS) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Public Housing and Settlement Areas (Kementerian PKP) and the Ministry of Manpower (Kemenaker). The agreement, formalized on Thursday (April 10) at Wisma Mandiri, Jakarta, focuses on the use of the National Single Social and Economic Data (DTSEN) to support a housing assistance program for workers and laborers.
The initiative reflects BPS’s commitment to ensuring that data contributes directly to impactful government policies. Through this collaboration, worker data integrated with DTSEN will be used to identify beneficiaries of subsidized housing provided by the Ministry of PKP.
Chief Statistician of BPS Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti described the partnership as a strategic step in advancing data-based policymaking. “This collaboration reflects a cross-sectoral approach grounded in reliable data. I’m proud that DTSEN can serve as a key pillar in supporting government programs—especially those aimed at providing decent housing for workers across Indonesia,” she said.
