BPS AI Innovation Secures National Recognition at the Digital Innovation Awards 2026

Statistics Indonesia (BPS) ongoing digital transformation continues to deliver tangible impacts for the public. Through various technology-driven public service innovations, BPS secured the prestigious "Digital Innovation in Public Services" award at the 2026 Digital Innovation Awards, held on Friday (22/5) at the MNC Conference Hall.

The award was received in person by the Director of Statistical Methodology and Data Science at BPS, Prof. Setia Pramana, who attended on behalf of the agency. This achievement serves as recognition of BPS's success in providing statistical services that are faster, more adaptive, and highly accessible to the public through the utilization of cutting-edge digital technology.

A key innovation highlighted by the award is the implementation of generative artificial intelligence (Generative AI) across BPS public services, notably within the Halo PST (Integrated Statistical Services) and Latifa (Fast Response Statistics Services) applications. The utilization of AI has been recognized for significantly enhancing service quality, from accelerating response times and simplifying access to statistical data, to boosting the overall efficiency of public service management.
