April 10, 2025 | Other Activities
In a bold move to strengthen data-driven policymaking, Statistics Indonesia (BPS) has signed three strategic Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with key government institutions on Thursday (March 27). This landmark collaboration underscores BPS’s relentless commitment to ensuring meaningful, high-impact statistical data that shapes national development.
After formalizing agreements with the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) and the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), BPS took another major step by sealing an MoU with the Ministry of Housing and Settlements (PKP) and the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) at Wisma Mandiri, Jakarta. The signing was led by Chief Statistician Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, Minister of Housing Maruarar Sirait, and Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, with the esteemed presence of Minister of National Development Planning (Bappenas) Rachmat Pambudy and Deputy Chief Statistician Sonny Harry B. Harmadi.
This groundbreaking tripartite partnership focuses on revolutionizing data integration and housing policies for healthcare professionals. By synchronizing healthcare workforce data with the National Social and Economic Single Data (DTSEN), the initiative aims to ensure targeted and effective interventions in providing adequate, dignified housing for Indonesia’s medical heroes.
"This collaboration marks a new era of synergy between our institutions. With this foundation, we will continue to drive innovation, maximize resources, and strengthen coordination to create real, lasting solutions for the nation," Amalia stated.
By harnessing cutting-edge statistical insights and interministerial cooperation, this initiative is set to transform the welfare of healthcare workers, enhance workforce planning, and reinforce Indonesia’s healthcare infrastructure like never before.
