The April 2005 Consumer Price Index (CPI) was 121.00, or inflated 0.34% from the previous month at 120.59. All indices of expenditure groups increased from the previous month, with the exception was foodstuff. The foodstuff index changed from 113.01 to 112.77 or deflated 0.21%. prepared food, beverages, cigarette and tobacco from 119.16 to 119.84 or 0.57% inflation. housing, water, electric, gas and fuel increased from 127.22 to 127.99 or 0.61% inflation. clothing from 114.17 to 114.55 or 0.33% inflation. health from 114.18 to 114.52 or 0.30% inflation. education, recreation and sport 126.63 to 126.78 or 0.12% inflation. transport, communication and financial services from 126.32 to 126.88 or 0.44% inflation.
