The May 2005 Consumer Price Index (CPI) was 121.25, or inflated 0.21% from the previous month at 121.00. All indices of expenditure groups increased from the previous month. The foodstuff index changed from 112.77 to 112.92 or inflated 0.13%. prepared food, beverages, cigarette and tobacco from 119.84 to 120.11 or 0.23% inflation. housing, water, electric, gas and fuel increased from 127.99 to 128.45 or 0.36% inflation. clothing from 114.55 to 114.73 or 0.16% inflation. health from 114.52 to 115.20 or 0.59% inflation. education, recreation and sport 126.78 to 126.83 or 0.04% inflation. transport, communication and financial services from 126.88 to 126.93 or 0.04% inflation.
