Statistics Indonesia (BPS) together with the Ministry of Human Rights (HAM) officially released the Human Rights Index 2024 of Indonesia as a national instrument used to measure, monitor, and evaluate the implementation of human rights in Indonesia.
The results show that Indonesia’s 2024 Human Rights Index reached a score of 63.20. The higher the Human Rights Index score, the better human rights are respected and protected.
The Civil and Political Rights Dimension scored 58.28, while the Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights Dimension reached 68.97.
