Field Visit by the Chief Statistician of BPS RI and the Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas to Inspect DTSEN

November 19, 2025 | Other Activities

The National Single Social and Economic Data (DTSEN) plays an important role as the government’s data foundation for designing various policies and programs, including serving as a reference for the Ministry of Housing and Settlements Areas (PKP) in identifying and determining recipients of the house renovation program for Uninhabitable Houses (RTLH). DTSEN serves as a single data source to support equitable development, accelerate efforts to address uninhabitable settlements, and ensure that every family has access to liveable housing in accordance with the state’s mandate.

Chief Statistician of Statistics Indonesia (BPS) RI, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, together with the Minister of PKP, Maruarar Sirait, conducted a field visit to Menteng Village (14/11). This visit was not only to review RTLH, but also to inspect the accuracy of DTSEN compiled and managed by BPS.

Through this visit, BPS RI and the Ministry of PKP reaffirmed their commitment to providing valid and reliable data that truly reflects conditions in the field, ensuring that every development program delivers real benefits to the community.
