Public Lecture with Vice Chief Statistician of Statistics Indonesia (BPS) RI at Udayana University

Vice Chief Statistician of Statistics Indonesia (BPS) RI, Sonny Harry Budiutomo Harmadi, was a keynote speaker at a public lecture organized by the BPS Bali Province in collaboration with Udayana University, carrying the theme “Statistik Bicara, Publik Percaya: Merancang Pembangunan Berkelanjutan di Era Revolusi Data” on October, 10.

Through this public lecture, participants were invited to explore how accurate and reliable data can serve as the foundation for designing sustainable development amid the rapid digital transformation and data revolution.

“In producing accurate data, BPS has adhered to international standards, making elaboration in interpreting data is very important. Therefore, the data can be viewed comprehensively, allowing the formulated policies and resulting decisions to be more accurate and well-targeted,” stated the Vice Chief Statistician of Statistics Indonesia (BPS) RI in the public lecture.

The event was also attended by the Rector of Udayana University, I Ketut Sudarsana, who expressed his hope that data would not merely remain on bureaucratic desks, but also evolve into knowledge that fosters innovations beneficial to society.
