October 27, 2025 | Other Activities
Chief Statistician of Statistics Indonesia (BPS) RI, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, participated in the Piloting Program for the Digitalization of Social Assistance in Banyuwangi Regency along with Minister of Social Affairs, Saifullah Yusuf; Chairperson of the National Economic Council, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan; Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Bima Arya; Deputy Minister of National Development Planning/Bappenas, Febrian Alphyanto Ruddyard; and Deputy Minister for Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, Purwardi Arianto on October, 2. Amalia was accompanied by Deputy for Social Statistics of BPS, Ateng Hartono.
During the piloting activity, the delegation visited one of the pilot locations in Dusun Suko Sumbermanis, Gombengsari Village, Kalipuro District, to observe the implementation of digital registration for social assistance using the Perlinsos application.
Following the site visit, a Government Digital Transformation Committee Meeting was held at Banyuwangi Pendopo to discuss the trial of social assistance distribution through the Perlinsos portal, a new system designed to be more transparent, accurate, and participatory. The result of this pilot in Banyuwangi will be evaluated and replicated across Indonesia as part of the government’s effort to ensure the social assistance distribution is more targeted and accountable.
BPS manages the DTSEN, which serves as the reference for social assistance policy formulation. “This piloting program is crucial as part of our efforts to modernize and improve the updating and management of DTSEN,” Amalia said.
