BPS Attends Working Meeting with DPD RI’s Committee IV

Statistics Indonesia (BPS) met with Committee IV of the Regional Representative Council (DPD RI) on Tuesday (Feb 18) at the Parliamentary Complex in Senayan, Jakarta for a working meeting led by Committee IV Chairman, Ahmad Nawardi.

During the discussion, BPS highlighted its key role in providing essential development indicators, as outlined in Law No. 59 of 2024 on the National Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPN) and Law No. 16 of 1997 on Statistics. The agency also presented its efforts to support Presidential Instruction No. 4 of 2025, particularly in developing the National Socioeconomic Single Data (DTSEN).

Committee IV members shared their insights and reaffirmed their support for BPS, recognizing its vital function in delivering reliable statistical data to guide national policy and development.
