BPS Attends Plenary Cabinet Meeting

The Chief Statistician of Statistics Indonesia (BPS) RI, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, together with the Vice Chief Statistician of Statistics Indonesia (BPS) RI, Sonny Harry Budiutomo Harmadi, attended the Plenary Cabinet Meeting led by the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia at the State Palace (15/12). The presence of the Chief Statistician and Vice Chief Statistician of BPS RI demonstrates the strategic position of BPS as a provider of data for cross-sector policy making. The meeting discussed developments and strengthening of collaboration between ministries/agencies and local governments in disaster management, including future disaster risk mitigation efforts.

Additionally, the meeting also discussed a number of the President's priority programs, including the People's School program, the construction of Regional General Hospitals (RSUD), the construction of 3 million homes, the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program, specialist doctor education, and other priority programs.
