Strengthening Synergy and Collaboration Between BPS and the Ministry of Law

Acting Chief Statistician of Statistics Indonesia (BPS), Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, participated in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Cooperation Agreement (PKS) within the Ministry of Law in Jakarta on January 24.

"This early-year initiative reflects the commitment of ministries and institutions partnering with the Ministry of Law to collaborate, exchange information, and transform in line with the President’s directives," stated Supratman Andi Agtas, Minister of Law.

The MoU between BPS and the Ministry of Law, signed by the Acting Chief Statistician and the Minister, focuses on the provision, utilization, and development of statistical data and information in the legal sector. In addition to BPS, the Ministry of Law also signed MoUs and PKS agreements with several other ministries, institutions, and banks.

This initiative aims to optimize legal and governmental functions, establish a structured cooperation framework between the Ministry of Law and its institutional partners, ensure legal certainty for all stakeholders, and maximize the benefits of collaboration.
