Sports Week of National Statistics Day 2024

In celebration of National Statistics Day 2024, BPS-Statistics Indonesia held Sports Week from September 17-20, 2024 where employees can join the excitement of sports competitions. This sports week tradition aims to foster unity among employees; boost morale at work; and serve as an opportunity to boost connection among department and generation. The event was opened by the Secretary-General of BPS, Imam Machdi, with a ceremonial basketball shot. Five sports categories competed are futsal, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, and e-sports. Beside the sports competition, BPS-Statistics Indonesia’s Women’s Association organized a fashion show with employees as the participants. The participants showcased their creativity by dressing in contemporary kebaya styles or using recycled materials for their outfits.
