In August 2025, imports reached US$19,475.2 million, down US$1,100.2 million (5.35 percent) compared to the previous month. This import value consisted of oil and gas imports of US$2,732.5 million (14.03 percent) and non-oil and gas imports of US$16,742.7 million (85.97 percent). Meanwhile, import volume reached 19,944.3 thousand tons, an increase of 0.18 percent. China still dominates the source of Indonesian imports, with a value of US$7,155.3 million, accounting for 36.74 percent. Meanwhile, the port of discharge in Jakarta Province remains the main unloading point for imported goods in Indonesia, valued at US$9,122.6 million (46.84 percent).
