Abstract

Tourism remains as one of the national development priorities, as outlined in the Medium-Term National Development Plan (RPJMN). To support the implementation of this program, a measurement tool is needed to comprehensively and accurately capture the contribution of tourism to the national economy. The Tourism Satellite Account (TSA) of Indonesia 2019–2023 has been developed to meet this need. This publication presents tourism indicators from both the demand and supply sides. On the demand side, it provides data on the expenditures of inbound (foreign), domestic, and outbound (Indonesian) tourists. On the supply side, it presents the value of tourism-related products generated by the tourism industry and other supporting industries in Indonesia. As an extension of the previous publication, this publication presents the data of tourism workforce and tourism collective consumption.
