Tourism Satellite Account Indonesia 2023-2025

The Indonesia Tourism Satellite Account (TSA) 2023-2025 publication presents tourism statistics describing tourism activities from both the demand and supply perspectives. From the demand side, it provides information on expenditure by inbound tourists, domestic tourists, and Indonesian residents traveling abroad (outbound). From the supply side, the publication includes data on tourism products, characteristics, and performance of tourism industries, as well as the contribution of related industries in meeting tourism demand in Indonesia. Using the TSA framework aligned with international standards recommended by the United Nations and UN Tourism, this publication provides indicators that capture tourism’s contribution to value added, Gross Domestic Product (GDP), and employment. The information presented is expected to support evidence-based policymaking, evaluation of tourism sector performance, and the development of sustainable and competitive tourism strategies in Indonesia.
