Human Development Index 2022

After being depressed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Indonesia's HDI in 2021 and 2022 began to increase. Indonesia's HDI grew by 0.49 percent in 2021 and 0.86 percent in 2022. The value is higher than 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic hit Indonesia which was 0.03 percent and also 2019 which grew by 0.74 percent. The improvement of Indonesia's HDI 2022 was mainly driven by increasing of decent living standards dimensions represented by adjusted real expenditure per capita.
