Human Development Index 2015

HDI figures presented at the national, provincial, and regency/city. Presentation of the HDI according to the region allows each province and regency/ city to know human development map, such as achievement, position, and inter-regional disparities. Thus, it is expected that each region can be motivated to work to improve development performance through the improvement of the population¬žs basic capacity. In 2014, the Central Bureau of Statistics officially calculate the Human Development Index with the new method. To maintain the continuity of the calculation, HDI new method not only counted in 2014, but starting in 2010.
