Abstract

  • The composite Producer Price Index (PPI) of the three sectors (Agriculture, Mining and Quarrying, and Manufacturing) in quarter IV-2021 rose 2.74 percent against quarter III-2021 (q-to-q) and increased by 8.77 percent against quarter IV-2020 (y-on-y).
  • The PPI of the Agricultural Sector in quarter IV-2021 rose 2.38 percent against quarter III-2021 (q-to-q) and increased by 5.70 percent against quarter IV-2020 (y-on-y).
  • The PPI Mining and Quarrying Sector in quarter IV-2021 rose 12.21 percent compared to quarter III-2021 (q-to-q) and increased 59.83 percent against quarter IV-2020 (y-on-y).
  • The PPI Manufacturing Sector in quarter IV-2021 rose 1.18 percent against quarter III-2021 (q-to-q) and increased by 3.25 percent against quarter IV- 2020 (y-on-y).
  • The PPI for the Electricity and Gas Supply in quarter IV-2021 rose 0.07 percent against quarter III-2021 (q-to-q) and increased 0.28 percent against quarter IV-2020 (y-on-y).
  • The PPI for the Water Supply in quarter IV-2021 rose 0.06 percent compared to quarter III-2021 (q-to-q) and increased by 1.34 percent against quarter IV-2020 (y-on-y).
  • The PPI for the Passenger Transportation Sector in quarter IV-2021 increased by 2.24 percent against quarter III-2021 (q-to-q) and rose 2.70 percent against quarter IV-2020 (y-on-y).
  • The PPI for the Accommodation, Food and Beverage Sector in quarter IV- 2021 increased by 0.10 percent and 0.60 percent compared to quarter III- 2021 (q-to-q) and quarter IV-2020 (y-on-y), respectively.
  • The PPI for the Education Services sector in quarter IV-2021 rose 0.68 percent and 3.17 percent against quarter III-2021 (q-to-q) and compared to quarter IV-2020 (y-on-y), respectively.
  • The PPI of Health Services Sector in quarter IV-2021 rose 0.25 percent against quarter III-2021 (q-to-q) and increased by 2.14 percent against quarter IV-2020 (y-on-y).
