The December 2005 Consumer Price Index (CPI) was 136.86, or deflated 0.04% from November 2005 at 136.92. All indices of expenditure groups increased, except foodstuff and education, recreation and sport. The foodstuff index changed from 128.27 to 126.55 or deflated 1.34%. prepared food, beverages, cigarette and tobacco from 130.72 to 131.56 or 0.64% inflation. housing, water, electric, gas and fuel increased from 141.00 to 141.50 or 0.35% inflation. clothing from 120.25 to 121.21 or 0.80% inflation. health from 119.29 to 119.99 or 0.59% inflation. education, recreation and sport 136.63 to 136.60 or 0.02% deflation. transport, communication and financial services from 165.32 to 165.38 or 0.04% inflation.
