Abstract

The Indonesia Consumer Price Index (CPI) June 2004, based on 45 cities observations, increases from 112.90 in May to 113.44 in June or inflation rate 0.48 %. All of the expenditure groups in the Consumer Price Index component are increasing: foodstuff 0.97 %; prepared food, beverages, cigarette and tobacco 0.15 %; housing, water, electric, gas and fuel 0.55 %; clothing 0.63 %; health 0.27 %; education, recreation and sport 0.08 % and transport, communication and financial services 0.07 %.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for June 2004 was 113.44 whereas CPI for previous month was 112.90 or inflation rate 0.48%. All of expenditure groups have increased in their indices from the previous month namely: foodstuff from 106.98 to 108.02 or 0.97% inflation; prepared food, beverages, cigarette and tobacco from 112.54 to 112.71 or 0.15% inflation; housing, water, electric, gas and fuel increased from 119.82 to 120.48 or 0.55% inflation; clothing from 109.12 to 109.81 or 0.63% inflation; Health from 110.95 to 111.25 or 0.27% inflation; education, recreation and sport 114.89 to 114.98 or 0.08% inflation; transport, communication and financial service from 113.01 to 113.09 or 0.07% inflation.
