Abstract

The value of Indonesian exports in April 2003 still exceeded US$ 5 billion, even though experiencing a decrease of 1.27 per cent over the previous month figure. During January-April 2003, the cumulative exports value experienced an increase of 13.10 per cent, over the same period in last year.
The value of Indonesian imports in April 2003 reached to US$ 2.69 billion, or dropped by 6.66 per cent compared to the figure in March 2003 as high as US$ 2.88 billion. The cumulative (January - April 2003) imports figure experienced an increase of 23.50 per cent over the same period in year 2002, to US$ 11.13 billion.
