Abstract

The value of Indonesian exports in May 2003 experienced a slight decline over the lat month figure, from US$ 5.00 billion to US$ 4.92 billion. However, in cumulative January-May 2003 period still experienced an increase of 11.66 per cent, over the same period in last year.
The value of Indonesian imports in May 2003 reached to US$ 2.87 billion, or dropped by 6.43 per cent compared to the figure in April 2003 as high as US$ 2.69 billion. The cumulative (January - May 2003) imports figure experienced an increase of 21.01 per cent over the same period in year 2002, to US$ 11.51 billion.
