Abstract

The value of Indonesian exports in March 2003 was the first time in this year exceeding US$ 5 billion, that was US$ 5.07, or increased by 3.85 per cent over February 2003. The cumulative figure (January-March 2003) experienced an increase of 15.83 per cent, over the same period in last year.
The value of Indonesian imports in March 2003 reached to US$ 2.88 billion, or dropped by 2.53 per cent compared to the figure in February 2003 as high as US$ 2.96 billion. The cumulative (January - March 2003) imports figure experienced an increase of 29.40 per cent over the same period in year 2002, that was from US$ 6.63 billion to US$ 8.58 billion.
