August 12, 2026 | BPS Activities
The results of SNLIK 2026 show positive progress on financial literacy and inclusion of the Indonesian public. The national Financial Literacy Index reached 69.57 percent, up from 66.64 percent in 2025. Meanwhile, the Financial Inclusion Index reached 93.61 percent, up from 92.74 percent the previous year.
On the other hand, significant opportunities remain to continuously strengthen public financial literacy. As access to financial services expands, public understanding is also being actively driven forward. A total of 62.51 percent of account holders are aware of the deposit insurance program, and 46.31 percent are familiar with the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS). These findings were presented during the official release of the National Survey on Financial Literacy and Inclusion (SNLIK) 2026 at the BPS Office (10/8), representing a collaboration between BPS, OJK, and LPS.
The SNLIK 2026 results were presented by the Chief Statistician of BPS RI, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti; the Chairperson of the OJK Board of Commissioners, Friderica Widyasari Dewi; and the Chairman of the LPS Board of Commissioners, Anggito Abimanyu. Also present at the event were Dicky Kartikoyono, Executive Director for Supervision of Financial Services Industry Conduct, Education, and Consumer Protection of OJK, and the Vice Chief Statistician of BPS RI, Sonny Harry Budiutomo Harmadi.
