Synergy between BPS and the Ministry of Creative Economy

Statistics Indonesia (BPS) attended a meeting with the Ministry of Creative Economy (Kemenekraf) to strengthen collaboration on creative economy statistical data (16/12). This meeting was attended by the Chief Statistician of Statistics Indonesia (BPS), Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti; the Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya; and the Vice Chief Statistician of Statistics Indonesia (BPS), Sonny Harry Budiutomo Harmadi.

During the meeting, the Minister of Creative Economy emphasized the importance of creative economy policies that are grounded in accurate and up-to-date statistical data. Statistics are expected not merely to present figures, but to serve as a foundation for mapping potential and formulating well-targeted policies.

The meeting marked a significant milestone in the tangible collaboration between BPS and Kemenekraf. BPS reaffirmed its commitment to continuously providing high-quality creative economy statistics to support the development of the national creative economy.
