As part of the preparations for the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026), BPS continues to coordinate with various stakeholders, including ministries and associations.
One of the main objectives of this coordination is to prepare a prelist or initial directory that will serve as the foundation for the implementation of SE2026. “Collaboration with all stakeholders from ministries/institutions and associations in the provision of a prelist to ensure the success of SE2026,” said Deputy Head of Production Statistics of BPS, M. Habibullah, when he was giving directions at the SE2026 Prelist Preparation Coordination meeting on October 8-9, 2025, in Jakarta.
Among the association representatives present was Jefri Andika Pakpahan from the Indonesian Employers Association (Apindo), who stated that data is invaluable capital. “The prelist will help reduce the burden on respondents,” he said. A representative from the Indonesian E-Commerce Association (idEA) also mentioned that their obligation to submit data to BPS quarterly could also be processed as data that reduces the burden of filling out questionnaires.
Let's work together to make SE2026 success!
