Rinjani Expedition for the 2026 Economic Census

In commemoration of National Statistics Day (HSN) 2025, a team from Statistics Indonesia (BPS RI), BPS West Nusa Tenggara Province, together with Agam Rinjani, explored Mount Rinjani to convey a message about the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026).

Following medical check-ups by the health team, the BPS team was officially sent off by the Director of Distribution Statistics of BPS, the Acting Head of the Public Relations and Legal Affairs Bureau of BPS, and the Head of BPS West Nusa Tenggara Province. The team began their ascent from Sembalun on September 21, 2025, with the journey lasting two days.

On September 22, 2025, the team successfully reached the summit of Mount Rinjani, where they raised the Indonesian flag and the SE2026 banner. The team returned safely to Sembalun.

This expedition represents long and challenging journey during preparing for the implementation of SE2026. Reaching the summit symbolizes the hope for its successful implementation.
