BPS Officially Owns Professional Certification Institutions

Statistics Indonesia (BPS) RI officially established Professional Certification Institutions (LSP BPS) after receiving a license from Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi (BNSP) during the "Anugerah Hari Statistik Nasional 2025" in Jakarta on September, 26. LSP BPS has seven schemes of certification.

Chief Statistician of Statistics Indonesia (BPS) RI, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti emphasized that the existence of LSP BPS marks an important step in improving the quality of statistical human resources. “With the establishment of LSP BPS, the competence of data collection officers is now standardized and recognized nationally. This initiative will strengthen public trust toward statistical data and enhance the competitiveness of Indonesian statistical human resources at the global level,” she said.  

Chairman of BNSP, Syamsi Hari, expressed his commitment to support BPS in strengthening the LSP institution and developing certification schemes in order to build a modern, professional, and globally competitive statistical ecosystem.
