Statistics Indonesia (BPS) and the Public Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera) have formalized their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the provision, use, and development of statistical data in the housing finance sector (July 23). The agreement was signed by BPS Chief Statistician Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti and BP Tapera Commissioner Heru Pudyo Nugroho.
Amalia noted that the MoU serves as a shared legal framework to support ongoing collaboration between the two agencies, particularly through regular data updates. She stressed the importance of establishing a structured system to ensure the partnership runs effectively and contributes to strengthening the Single National Socio-Economic Data (DTSEN), which serves as a key reference for policy and program development—especially in the distribution of housing assistance.
This synergy between BPS and BP Tapera marks a strategic investment in building a strong statistical data ecosystem to support Indonesia’s national development goals.
