National Transfer Accounts (NTA) 2024: The Portrait of Intergenerational Economy in Indonesia

Indonesia is currently experiencing a demographic bonus that is crucial for development. In this context, understanding how economic resources are produced, consumed, and allocated across age groups becomes very important. Through the National Transfer Accounts (NTA) analytical framework, the dynamics of consumption, labor income, and intergenerational transfer mechanisms in Indonesia’s economy can be mapped. As a summary of statistics that are still experimental in nature, this booklet is prepared to encourage further discussion and development.
