In January 2026, imports reached US$21,201.4 million, down US$2,632.7 million (11.05 percent) compared to the previous month. This import value consisted of oil and gas imports of US$3,166.0 million (14.93 percent) and non-oil and gas imports of US$18,035.4 million (85.07 percent). Meanwhile, import volume reached 19,654.2 thousand tons, a decrease of 20.31 percent. China still dominates the source of Indonesian imports, valued at US$7,910.9 million, with a share of 37.31 percent. Meanwhile, the port of discharge in Jakarta Province remains the main unloading point for imported goods in Indonesia, valued at US$10,053.4 million (47.42 percent).
