Abstract

Thanks to the great role of Micro and Small Industries (SMEs) in strengthening the Indonesian economy by creating jobs and accommodating local workers, making it a sector that should be developed to the maximum. However, IMK still faces several challenges, such as limited access and capital, lack of the quality of human resources and management, and weak legality aspects. The 2024 Annual Micro and Small Industry Survey was held to support the solution of this problem. This survey was conducted by gathering micro and small industry businesses/companies to obtain various information that can describe the diversity of IMK characteristics in Indonesia in 2024 as a basis for consideration to increase the contribution of micro and small industries in the national economy.
