Indonesia's imports in 2024 reached USD235,199.6 million (up 5.42 percent), consisting of oil and gas imports of USD36,276.8 million and non-oil and gas imports of USD198,922.8 million. Tanjung Priok Port is the main place for unloading imported goods with a portion of 36.87 percent or worth USD86,716.0 million. The main countries of origin of Indonesia's imports include China USD73,853.1 million (31.40 percent), Singapore USD21,533.9 million (9.16 percent), and Japan USD14,982.5 million (6.37 percent). From the composition, imports are dominated by raw/auxiliary materials worth USD170,715.4 million (72.58 percent), followed by capital goods USD41,753.5 million (17.75 percent) and consumer goods USD22,730.7 million (9.67 percent).
