The Wholesale Price Indices of Indonesia (2018=100) 2024

Wholesale Price Index (WPI) is a figure that describes the price changes at the wholesale level of commodities traded in a region (country or province). The WPI 2024 is calculated based on the base year 2018 (2018=100), where the basket commodity was obtained from Compilation of Weighing Diagram Survey (SPDT) WPI Provincial 2017. The number of commodities covered in the WPI 2024 (2018=100) was 687 commodities.The WPI 2024 is grouped based on the Indonesian Standard Industrial Classification (ISIC) 2015. The WPI is present in three sectors: Agriculture Sector; Mining and Quarrying Sector; and Manufacturing Sector. Starting in 2020, WPI no longer includes the Group of Imported and Exported Goods because it only comprises domestic commodities in the SPDT WPI Provincial 2017. However, the Group of Imported and Exported Goods still calculated based on 2010 (2010=100). The Group of Imported and Exported Goods is presented under International Trade Price Index (ITPI).
