Statistical Data Story for Indonesia - Building a Golden Generation Through Adequate Food Consumption

Cerita Data Statistik Untuk Indonesia (Statistical Data Stories for Indonesia) is a booklet containing articles known as CERDAS, which utilizes innovative data sources and official statistics to provide ideas related to socio-economic issues. In this edition, the Directorate of Statistical Analysis and Development has prepared articles related to the issue of adequate food consumption for children. Food insufficiency in Indonesia varies between regions. A program that focuses on fulfilling priority nutrition is needed. Household factors such as low education and informal employment contribute to inadequate nutrition, while social assistance is still limited. It is hoped that the economic assistance strategy and nutrition education for the community can improve food access and children's welfare. We hope that this booklet can capture the essence of each statistical value, and make these stories inspire us to create better change for Indonesia's future, especially in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
