Abstract

Cerita Data Statistik Untuk Indonesia is a collection of articles known as CERDAS, which utilizes innovative data sources and official statistics to provide ideas related to socio-economic issues. In this edition, the Directorate of Statistical Analysis and Development has prepared two articles related to the issue of Indonesia's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially regarding environment. The first article reviews the phenomenon of climate change which is a challenge in realizing resilient rice production. Meanwhile, the second article discusses the increase in ship exhaust emissions seen from ship traffic in Batam on air quality. We hope that this booklet can capture the essence of each statistical value, and make these stories inspire us to create better change for Indonesia's future, especially in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
