Statistics of Aquaculture Establishment 2023

ABSTRACT The Publication Statistics of Aquaculture Establishment 2023/2024 is the compilation of collecting data on aquaculture establishment all around Indonesia yearly. The data presented in this publication include input output of establishment, the amount and wages of labor, the volume of production, the value and cost of production. Aquaculture Establishment is an establishment which has legal status conducting activity to cultivate fishes/other water animals/ water plants from seeding process to harvesting process use land, water and artificial facilities which aims to sell its output (wholly or partly) or for commercial. Culture covers brackish water pond culture, fresh water culture, marine culture, and fish hatchery culture. In 2023, there were 692 aquaculture establishments with active status. Based on main type of culture, most of the establishments engaged in brackish water culture. There are 469 brackish water culture establishments, marine culture establishments about 45 establishment, hatchery establishment by 110 establishments, and fresh water culture establishment about 68 establishments.
