Analysis of Labor Force Mobility-Result of 2023 National Labor Force Survey (NLFS)

The publication of Labor Mobility Analysis Results of the 2023 National Labor Force Survey is the ninth publication of the BPS-Statistics Indonesia, after previously being published in 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021, and 2023. Previous publications were published in a biennial period, starting this year it is published annually. This publication presents an analysis of labor mobility patterns in Indonesia using data from the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas). The scope of discussion in this publication includes analysis of worker mobility, both permanent and non-permanent. Apart from that, there is analysis of job mobility, such as movement between jobs and shifts in the employment status of workers. This publication also provides analysis related to experiences working abroad. The data used in preparing this publication was mostly obtained from the results of Sakernas August 2023, as well as some from the results of Sakernas in previous years.
