Abstract

Indonesia's imports in 2023 will reach USD221,886.2 million (down 6.55 percent), consisting of oil and gas imports of USD35,830.5 million and non-oil and gas imports of USD186,055.7 million. Tanjung Priok Port is the main unloading place for imported goods with a portion of 37.36 percent or worth USD82,894.1 million. The main countries of origin for Indonesia's imports include China USD 62,880.9 million (28.34 percent), Singapore USD 18,409.6 million (8.30 percent), and Japan USD 16,516.9 million (7.44 percent). In terms of composition, imports are dominated by raw/auxiliary materials worth USD 161,155.8 million (72.63 percent), followed by capital goods USD 39,183.5 million (17.66 percent) and consumer goods USD 21,546.9 million (9, 71 percent).
