Construction Indicator, 4th Quarter-2023

Construction is the fifth-largest sector in Indonesian economy. Construction contributed around 9.92 percent in the country's gross domestic product (GDP) in 2023. BPS-Statistics Indonesia conducts the Quarterly Construction Establishment Survey (QCES) on medium and large scale construction establishments to provide information on construction sector growth. This publication presents some construction indices based on the Fourth Quarter of QCES 2023, such as indices of permanent workers, man-days of casual workers, compensation of permanent workers, wages of casual workers, value of construction works completed, business condition, business prospect, and business problem.
