Indonesia Inter-regional Trade 2023

Inter-regional trade has a vital role in the people's economy. Inter-regional trade can be defined as the trade and distribution of goods from one province to others in a country. The Different needs and availability of commodities in each province and also the relatively high fluctuations and disparities of prices of basic goods prices between regions are the driving factors for inter-regional trade. The publication briefly reviews the results of research on inter-regional trade using 2022 data. The information provided is purchases and sales between provinces in Indonesia along with a map of trade and the modes of transportation-used. This publication is expected to become a reference for the development of a more efficient trade distribution system.
