Foreign Trade Statistical Bulletin Imports, January 2023

In January 2023 the value of imports reached US$18,442.9 million, down US$1,420.2 million (7.15 percent) compared to the previous month. Likewise, the volume of imports fell by US$2,147.4 million (12.31 percent). Import value consisted of oil and gas imports of US$2,906.1 million (15.76 percent) and non-oil and gas imports of US$15,536.8 million (84.24 percent) January 2023 imports were dominated by the three main countries of origin, namely China USD 5,513.5 million (29.89 percent), followed by Japan USD 1,366.5 million (7.41 percent), and Singapore USD 1,221.7 million ( 6.62 percent). The unloading port in DKI Jakarta Province is still the main unloading place for imported goods in Indonesia worth USD 8,641.2 million (46.85 percent)
