Study of Gender Inequality Index Measurement 2022

In 2017 BPS-Statistics Indonesia has been conducted a study on the measurement of the Gender Inequality Index/Indeks Ketimpangan Gender (IKG) referring United Nations Development Program (UNDP). The study conducted in 2017 focused on selecting the index and indicator preparation method used for calculating the IKG at the provincial level. In 2018 the study was deepened with a trial calculation at the municipal level using the method in 2017. In 2022, the review will be continued with a trial for calculating the IKG at the provincial and municipal levels.
